Powerplant Quality Inspector – CFM56 EnginesLocation: Doral, Florida
Schedule: 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM (Second Shift)
Type of Contract: Permanent
Pay Rate: $30/hr – $40/hr + $2/hr shift differential
Note: Lunch breaks are provided without deduction from working hours.
Job Summary
TTG Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Detail Inspector for a leading MRO aerospace company. This role focuses on CFM-56 engine inspections, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must hold a FAA Powerplant License and have a strong background in Part 145 shops.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections on CFM-56 engines (preliminary, in-process, and final).
Verify compliance with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs).
Review and approve maintenance records for accuracy.
Perform borescope and module inspections as required.
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience with CFM-56 engines.
FAA Powerplant License (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of FAA Part 65 & Part 145 regulations.
Ability to work exclusively on the second shift.
A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant) – Preferred but not required.
Experience using Quantum Aviation Software for tracking maintenance records – Preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints.
Knowledge of aviation safety standards and compliance.
