Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inspector to join our manufacturing quality assurance team. In this vital role, you will ensure that products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and expertise in measurement tools will help uphold our commitment to excellence. As an Inspector, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our production processes, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precise quality control practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize calibration tools and measurement instruments to perform dimensional measurements, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and analysis of measurement data.
  • Document inspection results accurately, compile data for quality reports, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and other regulatory standards.
  • Support the implementation of quality management systems by participating in internal audits and maintaining compliance documentation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GD&T specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), and GMP regulations.
  • Hands-on experience operating measuring instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing processes such as FDA regulations and HACCP protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quality audits, analyze measurement data, and utilize analysis skills for root cause identification.
  • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement calculations and data interpretation.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
