About the Company – Porthos Project Overview Porthos (Port of Rotterdam COâ‚‚ Transport Hub and Offshore Storage) is a key Dutch initiative supporting national climate targets—reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 and becoming climate neutral by 2050. Construction has begun near Rozenburg, and the offshore pipelay is conducted by Allseas.
Inspection Services Required – OCRE Offshore Services B.V. is seeking still some memebers for a qualified team of Inspectors for a 15-day offshore operation in two 12-hour shifts. Inspectors will report daily to the Project Manager . Start: 27 April. Key QA/QC Inspection Areas:
Coating inspection
Welding inspection
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Responsibilities –
Daily written reports
Attend pre-work kick-off meeting in Rotterdam
Review data and documentation from the offshore contractor (equipment use, method statements, daily progress reports)
Qualification Criteria – General Requirements (All Inspectors)
Min. 5 years experience in offshore installation projects
Familiarity with S-lay pipelay with MLPP
Experience with pipeline/offshore contractors
Excellent English communication skills
Independent working and clear reporting ability
Willing to work offshore 12 hrs/day in 2 shifts
Certified in VOL-VCA / SCC and OPITO BOSIET
Specific Inspector Requirements Coating Inspector:
NACE, Frosio, or Icorr Level 2 certification
5+ years in coating inspection
Welding Inspector:
5+ years in welding QA/QC
IWE, CSWIP 3.1, or equivalent
NDT Inspector:
5+ years NDT experience
CSWIP AUT (ISO 9712) certification
