QUALITY INSPECTOR – DRY MORTAR FACTORY

Twyford International Kenya is looking for a meticulous, responsible, and quality-focused Quality Inspector to join our Dry Mortar Factory team in Kenya.

Location: Kajiado,Kenya

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Quality Control

• Conduct routine inspections throughout the production process.

• Monitor the proportioning, batching, and mixing of dry mortar to ensure compliance with approved process requirements and quality standards.

• Verify that production activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and specifications.

Finished Product Inspection

• Conduct final inspection and quality confirmation of finished dry mortar products before dispatch.

• Verify key product quality indicators, including bond strength, compressive strength, flexural strength, flowability, and other applicable specifications.

• Ensure that only products meeting the required quality standards are released from the factory.

• Prevent non-conforming products from being dispatched to customers.

Data Recording and Quality Traceability

• Accurately complete all inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.

• Maintain proper records to ensure product quality traceability.

• Compile and maintain accurate inspection and testing data.

Quality Issue Handling and Continuous Improvement

• Promptly identify, report, and follow up on quality issues and non-conformities.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to support the investigation and resolution of quality problems.

• Regularly summarize and analyze inspection data to identify trends and support continuous quality improvement.

• Participate in corrective and preventive action initiatives where required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Inorganic Non-Metallic Materials, Applied Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

• Experience in quality inspection within the dry mortar, cement, concrete, construction materials, or related building materials industry will be an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates who are willing to learn, proactive, and demonstrate strong potential are also encouraged to apply.

• Basic computer literacy is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data recording, analysis, and reporting.
