Summary
The Production Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring of all stampings, welding and assemblies, collecting data and documentation of data, he/she is also responsible for the conformance of our products to the customer requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-Perform hourly checks on production parts, Inspections include but not limited to SPC data collection, first piece OK and last piece off, keep Check Fixtures clean and maintained, follow inspection procedures, FMEA, Process Instructions and Control Plan
-Record all quality checks on the appropriate inspection sheets for the inspection or test performed
-File all completed quality records in the designated storage areas
-Perform all inspection checks on all outgoing material ( outside processing or finished goods )
-Record all findings on appropriate check sheets
-Identify non-conforming material and inform the necessary personnel
-Execute all job responsibilities in accordance with TS-16949 requirements
-Actively contributes to and participates in continuous improvements initiatives.
Skills/Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· 18 years of age or older with the ability to work extended hours
· Successful completion of Safety/Operator 101 Training at Iroquois
· Successful completion of Stamping/Welding Operator Jobsite Training Instruction Check sheet, Form 18QQ
· After 30-60 days of employment, SQE (safety, quality, environmental) sign off
· Ability to communicate with other personnel clearly and effectively
· Reliable transportation and able to work weekends
