Position: Inspector / Quality Technician
The primary responsibility of the Inspector is to verify product conformance, generally through measurements or testing. The Inspector will be required to use some highly technical equipment such as a CMM, white light interferometer, and vision systems. Additionally, there is a wealth of standard hand tools and gaging the Inspector should be very familiar with using.
Qualifications:
Well versed with the ASME Y14.5.
Experience with inspection of threads, including screw thread, pipe thread, and British threads.
Familiar with common post processes such as heat treat, plating, part marking.
At least 3 years experience in mechanical inspection.
Be able to use all hand tools (OD, blade, pitch mic’s) and height gages.
Be able to program or operate a CMM using PCDMIS.
Be able to program or operate an OGP or Keyence vision system.
Knowledge of SPC a plus.
