Elite Fasteners, Inc., an ISO 9001:2015 registered leading manufacturer of cold headed and cold formed fasteners for over 35 years, is seeking a dependable, sales professional at our facility in Rockford, IL.
**Experience in Fastener Industry Required**
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with all current department managers to supprot the following:
Develop, establish, and maintain relationships at multiple levels (engineers, purchasing, & leadership) with current and prospective customers.
Responsibility for commercial leadership, management, and business development activities with assigned customer accounts. This may include:
Technical skills required to provide customer technical product/print direction
Contract management/negotiation skills required for review of legal documents submitted from customers.
Research quotes/orders and collaborate with teammates
Discuss known issues with customer prior to or during production
Create informative, timely, and well written internal and external reports
Communication of changes at the customers level.
Professional, concise, and factual customer correspondence.
National travel as necessary to support customers requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years prior technical experience.
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes connected with fasteners
Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Academic and/or practical computer-aided design (CAD) training and/or experience.
Fastener technical experience.
Quoting experience.
Inside/Outside sales background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,475.82 – $85,605.29 per year
