Title: Night Shift- Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Manager
Department: Quality
Supervises: None
Basic Function: Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality? We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. Responsible for performing specified checks and tests on finished products that both meets our customer quality expectation and our production goals.
Responsibilities:
1. To verify the quality of finished and unfinished tubes by means of visual inspection, measurements and testing of the finished and unfinished tubes.
2. To document results of the visual inspection, measurements, and testing.
3. To report non-conformance to the Shift Supervisor and/or line mechanic.
4. To document non-conformance on the appropriate forms.
5. To check product against Photostat as well as color sample for correct copy and decoration.
6. To make holdouts of defective materials to be reworked.
7. To complete required inspection reports and as necessary, record data in QIS.
8. To perform miscellaneous duties as required.
9. To keep work area clean and orderly.
10. Rework as required.
11. Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1. Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred
2. Ability to read and write English.
3. Ability to use ruler, gauges, and other various test instruments.
4. Good math skills
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Good interpersonal skills.
7. Good multi-tasking/problem solving skills.
