Context of the Position :
As a QA Tester Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance (QA) team in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. This role provides hands-on experience in software testing, bug tracking, and collaboration with developers to improve product reliability. You will work closely with the development and product teams to execute test cases, identify defects, and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Your responsibilities :
Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results.
Identify, document, and report bugs or defects in a structured manner.
Assist in regression testing to ensure stability after updates.
Work closely with developers to understand features and potential issues.
Help create and maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans, and reports).
Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss testing progress.
Learn and apply best practices in software quality assurance.
️ What we are looking for :
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, usability, performance testing).
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello).
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is an advantage.
Exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
Understanding of APIs and ability to test them using tools like Postman
