Your Key Responsibilities In This Role Will Be
- Execute assigned audit engagements based on the annual audit plan and established priorities, ensuring compliance with global internal audit standards, internal methodologies, and quality assurance requirements.
- Perform testing of internal controls and support audit procedures with proper documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Identify control gaps and potential risks within company processes and operating procedures.
- Prepare and maintain audit working papers and documentation within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Draft clear, well-structured audit observations, supporting the evaluation of risks arising from weaknesses identified in the internal control system.
- Support the audit team in providing recommendations aimed at improving internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including first- and second-line control functions, throughout audit activities.
- Support the coordination of external audit requests, acting as a point of contact under the supervision of senior auditors.

Qualifications Needed To Be Successful In This Role
- 4 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably within a payments processing, fintech, banking, or broader financial services environment.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and auditing standards.
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent command of Greek and English (oral and written).
- Any relevant certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA, CAMS) is a plus but not mandatory for the role.
Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with documentation and evidence.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal audit team members and other stakeholders (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Operations).
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast ‑ paced, regulated environment.
