Job Summary:
This role covers inspecting and shipping out various customized products. Orders being processed can vary by quantity and item. Our mission is to process orders as quickly and efficiently as possible without compromising on quality. With supervision and training, a successful Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all orders adhere to the Fivestar’s high quality standard for all products.
Inspection: Reading and interpreting purchase orders. Checking every order as it is prepared for shipment for quality and compliance. Sending nonconforming products back to the production line to be corrected. Examining shipments of inventory and raw materials for defects.
Production/Assembly: As needed, the Quality Control Inspector may be required to help with production. This includes putting together rubber stamps and embossers, cleaning laser-engraved signs, filling ink bottles, and more.
Shipping: Orders are shipped out via FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Softwares are available for each shipping carrier in which the Quality Control Inspector will be packing and printing out shipping labels to complete the process of order fulfillment.
Job Duties (included but not limited to):
Understanding product knowledge
Reading and interpreting purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips
Using various shipping software to generate shipping labels
Restocking new shipment and checking incoming inventory from vendors
Other duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred 2+ years of production/office experience
Ability to work efficiently with strict deadlines
Willing to learn about different products and software
High attention to detail
Good communication skills
Proactive worker with the willingness and ability to work quickly and efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
