Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of application software through comprehensive testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts, ensuring that the software meets established benchmarks and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality assurance testing of application software using various testing methodologies, including usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility testing.
Review requirements and user stories to develop and execute appropriate test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
Document and report test outcomes, logging any bugs or defects identified during testing.
Identify, develop, and validate test data to ensure software functionality and features meet expected standards.
Test all components of applications for compliance with specifications and user stories.
Coordinate test activities, including technical and security testing, with team members and other OTS sections.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and relevant team meetings and design sessions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing quality assurance testing of application software using various testing methodologies.
At least 3 years of experience in developing, writing, and executing test cases, scenarios, and/or scripts.
3 years of experience in identifying and validating appropriate test data to ensure the functionality of software meets established benchmarks.
Desired Qualifications
Certifications in Software Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB.
Experience in documenting requirements and/or user stories.
Experience in creating operating procedures, user guides, and/or training materials.
Experience working as a member of a Scrum Team.
Familiarity with testing tools like Jira, Jama, and Zephyr.
Other Requirements
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring software quality.
Excellent communication skills to document and report test outcomes clearly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
