JD: Job: Execute UAT (80-90% of the work), query databases, liaise between business + tech
Requirement: (can be a recent graduate , ideally 6 months of exp)
o Hunger to learn/go-getter
o Technical knowledge:
§ Basic understanding of SDLC, API, how web applications are built
§ Testing mindset: ability to come up with edge cases/test scenarios
§ Basic SQL querying essential (heavier data/SQL in resume will make candidate stand out!)
§ Troubleshooting/analytical skills to find root causes
o Communication: Ability to liaise, build relationships with business, be perceived as a value-add
Requirements:
• Understanding of software application architecture and API concepts.
• Experience in creating complex SQL scripts.
• Keen eye towards application quality and excellent troubleshooting skills
• Past experience influencing decisions and building conscience across internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of industry leading technology best practices including technology methodologies including Agile and iterative.
• Should be well organized, thorough, and able to handle competing priorities.
• Ability to maintain focus and develop proficiency in new skills rapidly.
• Experience working with business and industry leaders in coordinating the testing timelines.
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills particularly in effectively managing relationships with a diverse group of clients/constituents with varying (often conflicting) interests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, and a minimum of 1 year of software development lifecycle experience. Advanced degree preferred.
