Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual Test to oversee our quality assurance efforts and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, team leadership, and working closely with developers and other stakeholders to maintain rigorous testing standards across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.

Coordinate and execute various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Ensure that all testing activities are thoroughly documented, and defects are properly tracked and reported.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure proper test coverage and alignment with project goals.

Oversee the execution of test cycles, ensuring that all test cases are executed within deadlines and defects are promptly resolved.

Provide detailed test status reports, identifying risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Ensure adherence to testing processes, methodologies, and quality standards.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management meetings to ensure testing activities align with project timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in manual software testing, with a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Strong experience in writing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Hands-on experience with various testing techniques (functional, regression, UAT, etc.).

Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present test results and risks to stakeholders.

Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Experience with performance and load testing.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile environments.

Programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, Shell scripting, etc.) is a plus.
