Responsibilities:
● Write and execute test scripts for core banking system functionalities, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
● Validate accounting-related transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in general ledger postings.
● Perform end-to-end testing of loan processing, deposits, payments, and reconciliation functions.
● Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts for resolution.
● Execute test cases for financial reporting and ensure proper integration with accounting modules.
● Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist stakeholders in verifying financial data integrity.
● Ensure adherence to banking compliance standards and internal controls during testing.
● Work under the guidance of the Accounting Head to align testing with financial accuracy requirements.
Qualifications:
● With at least 1 year experience
● Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Experience in testing core banking systems, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
● Ability to write and execute test scripts for financial transactions and reporting.
● Familiarity with financial transactions, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
● Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.
● Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
