Role Overview

We are looking for a self-driven Junior QA Analyst to join our Software Engineering Team. You’ll be working on a variety of applications, from our eCommerce shop to our service-driven SaaS platform. Experience testing both mobile and web applications, along with some automation knowledge (e.g. Cypress), is ideal.

We are seeking an individual who is hard-working and determined, with strong communication skills. You should be passionate about quality assurance, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy identifying and analyzing issues. A problem solver by nature, you will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and marketing to ensure the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

Designing and executing test cases for new functionalities across various projects

Performing regression testing for releases and maintaining regression test cases

Identifying and reporting software defects in Jira, working closely with developers to resolve them

Working on different projects and participating in end-to-end testing

Assisting with test automation and improving testing processes

Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure product quality and a smooth release process

Identifying potential risks and proactively highlighting them to the team

Staying updated with the latest QA techniques, tools, and best practices

Taking ownership of projects from a QA perspective in the future

Requirements

Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Familiarity with basic testing methodologies

Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub

Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Passion for testing, with the ability to not just find issues but understand their cause

1-2 years of experience in a QA role

Desirable Skills

Experience testing APIs

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Cypress
