Position Overview
The Junior Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished lots meet the company’s quality standards. You will support the Lot Qualification Laboratory by performing inspections, measurements, and basic testing activities, while also assisting with general operational tasks across the facility.
This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a quality‑focused mindset, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, regulated environment. Full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Incoming & In‑Process Inspection — Receive materials and perform inspection, testing, and measurement according to work instructions and procedures.
- Lot Qualification Testing — Conduct inspections and tests to support the Lot Qualification Laboratory.
- Documentation & Data Entry — Record inspection and test results in MES/SAP or checklists following Good Documentation Practices.
- Equipment Handling — Use basic testing equipment such as roughness testers, spring latch testers, and leak testers.
- Preventive Maintenance — Perform routine maintenance tasks and escalate equipment or facility issues when needed.
- Output & Quality Control — Ensure inspection output meets daily targets without compromising quality.
- 5S & Safety — Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Operational Support — Act as an on‑site point of contact, manage facility access, and support warehouse/logistics activities.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent).
- Preferably 1+ year experience in a quality‑related, production, warehouse, or technical role.
- English proficiency for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to inspect small parts/components (good vision required).
- A team‑oriented approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work fully on‑site in a lab/plant environment.
