StayinFront is looking for a detail-focused and curious Junior QA Specialist to join our Digital team in Poznan. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with visual data, quality control processes, and emerging technology, and who would like to develop experience in data preparation for neural network training.
This is a part-time role of around 20 hours per week over 3-5 days, there will be opportunity for increasing these hours during busy periods
As Junior QA Specialist, you will help improve the quality and accuracy of StayinFront Digital Merchandising by preparing and checking image and product data used to train neural networks. You will monitor recognition accuracy, support key quality KPIs, and work closely with internal teams to identify issues, improve data quality, and support the development of new or enhanced data analysis tools.
What you will do
· Support the initial set-up of neural network projects and assist when additional products are added.
· Gather and prepare image and product data required for neural network training.
· Review shelf images labelled in the BMS Quality Control Tool.
· Identify, verify, and segment objects found in images using quality control tools.
· Detect irregularities, outliers, and incorrectly labelled images or product facings.
· Monitor quality and recognition accuracy against agreed KPIs.
· Support the creation and improvement of data analysis tools and related functionality.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Engineering teams across different regions.
· Attend regular status meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks, issues, and quality concerns.
What we are looking for
· Higher education Level, ideally degree level or currently continuing studies.
· Good written and spoken English, with the ability to take part in an interview in English.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Analytical and methodical approach to reviewing data and identifying issues.
· Curiosity about AI, neural networks, data labelling, digital tools, and quality assurance.
· Good problem-solving skills and confidence escalating quality concerns when needed.
· Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
· Reliability, organisation, proactivity, and resilience when working with detailed or repetitive review tasks.
