What You’ll Do

As our Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include:

Using standard gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators to perform precise measurements.
Interpreting blueprints and applying your understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure parts meet specifications.
Building strong relationships with shop personnel and collaborating as part of a team to continuously strive for improvement.
Communicating effectively with team members, management, and customers to uphold quality standards.
Serving as a champion for quality by promoting best practices and problem-solving alongside the production team.

What We’re Looking For

Job Description: Quality Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our exciting manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous inspection and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize standard gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators to perform thorough inspections of manufactured parts and components.
Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, including understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) at an operational level to gather precise measurement data.
Communicate effectively with production personnel to provide feedback, identify quality issues, and collaborate on corrective actions.
Serve as a quality ambassador, building strong relationships with shop floor teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Demonstrated expertise in using a variety of precision measurement tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators.
Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and a strong understanding of their operation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
