GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The E Banking Debit Card Quality Control will serve as a primary resource for monitoring compliance for debit cards, credit cards and other payments. They will advise and assist Management with identifying risk and monitoring remediation. Other duties will include department operational support and project-assigned duties and testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitor E Banking card services ensuring they are in compliance and when issues are identified, track and report remediation. This duty will include that the department is following procedures 100%. This duty is performed daily, about 60% of the time.

2. Work with internal and external customers on Compliance issues and customer complaints including third party due diligence. This duty is performed as needed, about 15% of the time.

3. Backup support for business credit card operations. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.

4. Act as support personnel for varying E Banking initiatives and projects including working with vendors on upgrades and enhancements. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.

5. Remain current with laws and regulations that affect E Banking card services. This role will be responsible for notifying management and quality assurance with any updates. This duty is performed as needed.

6. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This duty is performed daily.

7. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.

8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
