Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our products and processes. This position involves conducting quality inspections, assisting in performing audits, and ensuring compliance with industry food regulations . The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with others to uphold the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Duties
Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Utilize precision testing tools such as gluten testing and coordinate measuring machines to assess product tolerances.
Perform quality audits to evaluate adherence to established quality management systems and procedures.
Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and CGMP standards.
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, or willingness to learn.
HACCP knowledge is extremely useful, but in the job training is available.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction across departments.
Experience in conducting quality audits is a plus; familiarity with food manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
