Overview:
SkyHop Technologies is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with at least three years of experience in manual and automated testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in testing APIs, web applications, and mobile apps (iOS and Android). Proficiency in either Selenium or Cypress for test automation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on web and mobile platforms, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Develop and manage automated tests using your scripting skills to enhance testing coverage.
Utilize Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools for efficient test automation.
Conduct thorough API testing to ensure software performance and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Identify, document, and communicate any bugs or errors effectively.
Review system specifications and work with cross-functional teams to devise effective strategies.
Stay updated on testing tools and methodologies to continually improve processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum three years of experience in QA engineering focused on manual and automated testing.
Hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress for test automation is required.
Proven API testing and web application testing experience.
Familiarity with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
Excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication abilities to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
