Job Summary – Solar Plastics, a division of Tank Holding Corp. and a leading manufacturer of liquid storage tanks to the agricultural industry is seeking an energetic, flexible, and organized Quality Assurance Specialist who is well versed in quality in the manufacturing sector.

Know and act as main lead for ISO 9001 standards.
Have the knowledge of how to review/understand a part print with the ability to interpret GD&T.
Understand critical dimensions and requirements of each part of secondary operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections on parts and finished goods
Verify product conformity against engineering drawings and specifications
Document inspection results using quality records and digital systems
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities
Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and inspection equipment
Collaborate with production, engineering, and QA teams to maintain product quality
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role (preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings)
Strong understanding of inspection techniques, measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.), and quality standards
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection plans
Proficient with basic computer processes including data entry, email communication, and use of Excel or ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality systems
Familiarity with root cause analysis, 5 Whys, or other quality tools
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Continuous wrist and finger movement for carrying and using equipment, tools (working with small bolts, nuts, screws, adding inserts, flushing out parts, flaming parts) etc. The employee may be required to push and/or pull up to 60 pounds; lift and/or carry 40 pounds. Required standing, working at a rapid speed, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, reaching and grasping up to 8+ hours per day. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with others. The noise and temperature level are above average, or commensurate with a typical manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to solvents when part cleaning, acids/corrosives when cleaning floors, dust dirt, fumes/vapors/gases from plastics processes, ovens and propane tanks.
