Position Title: Certification/Quality Administrator
Location: Addison, TX
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Valtir is seeking a Certification and Quality Administrator to join our team in Addison, TX (HQ) office. The Certification/Quality Administrator will be responsible for processing all incoming material certifications for Steel and Hardware. Prepare certs, packets and forms for outbound shipments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Process all incoming material certifications for Steel and Hardware and miscellaneous items
Verify that material certs meet Buy America and other spec requirements.
Interact with the commodity managers, buyers and vendors to resolve/prevent certification discrepancies
Assist in entering 123 direct shipments
Respond to inquiries from other departments
Monitor and process emails in the Outbound shipments inbox
Create certs packets for Customers in compliance with DOT requirements
Send RHC Reports to FDOT
Attend ongoing training
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
2+ years’ experience in administrative or related role is required
Expert time management, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills; ability to work with others efficiently and effectively
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Good time management skills (i.e. multitasking with efficiency) with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail, multi-task and strong organizational skills
High School diploma or equivalent; College degree is a plus
