Summary
The successful Quality Specialist will be responsible for managing the Company’s QA systems, customer quality expectations, internal/external and regulatory quality compliance.

What you’ll do
Work collaboratively with the Quality Department to enhance and maintain our quality system
Promotes a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement
Ensure corrective actions (NCR) are properly generated and effectively closed
Ensure document and record controls are maintained
Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous process improvement activities
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system preferred
Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting
Aid in supplier development and occasionally make supplier visits
What you’ll need
Prior experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred but not required
Two-year College or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or 4 year college or university degree
Ability to handle multiple assignments during the workday
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
Computer Skills: SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Access, Photo editor software, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint
