We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Lab Technician to support our laboratory operations by performing technical and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will assist in conducting experiments, analyzing results, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
What You’ll be doing:
Prepare, set up, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
Collect, label, and analyze samples
Record and interpret data accurately and prepare technical reports or summaries
Maintain detailed logs of experiments and procedures
Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the laboratory environment
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard procedures
Assist in inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies and reagents
Comply with all company and regulatory health and safety standards
Support research and development teams with experimental setups and data collection
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
Degree or diploma in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a Lab Technician or in a similar role. In the Chemical Industry or R&D is preferred
Proficiency in using lab equipment and relevant software
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of working independently;
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving methodologies;
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure precise measurements and accurate data analysis
Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining a strong commitment to laboratory safety practices;
Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills;
Proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese and English
