Job Description:

Duties
:
Perform NDT (Nondestructive Testing) examinations such as Radiography, Ultrasonic, Visual, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Eddy Current testing.
Work primarily at fossil generating plants and natural gas pipelines, along with other energy facilities.
Evaluate test results according to nationally accepted codes and standards.
Work on extended out-of-town assignments within Michigan and be willing to work significant overtime as needed.
Obtain certification as an industrial radiographer and in other NDT methods upon training completion.
Handle work involving high-energy radioactive isotopes.
Skills:
Self-motivated with high productivity.
Flexible and adaptable to department needs.
Maintain performance and composure during audits and certification tests.
Problem-solving skills related to processes, equipment, and technical methods.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
