The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOP): engineering, manufacturing operations, flowcharts inspection/receiving process.
Develop internal KPI for quality, delivery and activities related to manufacturing.
Ensure continuous compliance with FAR Part 21 requirements.
Reestablish ISO9000 system
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field and 5
years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management or Quality Control.
Master’s degree preferred.
Six Sigma methodology experience preferred
Supervisory and leadership skills a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Experience with using quality assurance tools and processes.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
