Overview:
The Quality Control Technician Trainee is an entry-level role focused on learning quality control procedures and techniques. This role offers hands-on experience in product inspections, testing, and documentation, following 2 Second Lean principles for process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: (include but not limited to): Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:

Assist in performing inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Learn to document and report quality findings.
Support the implementation of 2 Second Lean improvements in quality processes.
Work closely with experienced QC technicians to learn industry standards and best practices.
Other duties may be assigned by leadership.

Qualifications: Minimum Preferred Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Interest in pursuing a career in quality control.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Essential physical requirements pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:

Far Vision- The ability to see details at a distance.
Near Vision- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Extent Flexibility- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
Stamina- The ability to exert yourself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath.
Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Ability to push, pull, and lift weight up to 35 pounds

Personal computers
Comfortable with Technology, open to learning/coachable
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software
Made2Mange (M2M and SFM)
Warehouse and inventory systems

REQUIRED WORK CLOTHING AND PPE: Attire should not interfere with job performance or safety.

Safety glasses are provided by Athena
Closed toe safety shoes are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.07 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
