Perform quality control checks on Chrysan products and incoming/outgoing materials.
Create Certificates of Analysis for Chrysan products prior to shipping.
Assist Quality & Lab Manager in disposing of chemical waste, calibration of lab equipment, general laboratory maintenance, and submitting quality documents.
Perform R&D testing for customer-requested or regulatory-driven product changes/development.
Support Chrysan’s Environmental, Health and Safety system.
Support Chrysan’s Quality Management System.
Job Accountabilities
Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instructions.
Calibrate laboratory equipment.
Perform various tests on materials as needed by customers.
Package/mail samples for testing, customers, suppliers, etc.
Perform routine quality control tests according to standard test methods to verify conformity to specifications.
Record test results on standardized forms and within PLEX ERP system.
Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulation.
Perform general housekeeping in the laboratory area; ensure departments are stocked on proper PPE and Spill Kit supplies.
Assist in preparing DOEs for R&D projects and record and report results. Prepare tracking excel sheets and present data with graphs and charts.
Assist in monitoring compliance with ISO 14001 requirements.
Assist Quality/Lab Manager in monitoring compliance with IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 requirements.
Support internal and external EMS and QMS, process & product audits.
Support QMS and EMS continual improvement activities.
Conduct environmental and monthly safety walkthroughs.
Maintain Safety Data Sheets by utilizing SDS Management Software.
Assist in annual registration of antifreeze products in required states.
Track/log monthly utilities, scrap waste, and quarantine area material inventory levels.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering strongly preferred.
0-3 years of work experience in a lab environment strongly preferred.
Competency in basic computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
Material Handling – Expertise in handling/managing hazardous materials (lab).
