The job duties for the position of Senior Quality Assurance Lead are listed below.

Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Lead is primarily responsible for facilitating and assuring in home care service provision is compliant with applicable Medicaid, Medicaid waiver, MCO, and other licensure and contractual requirements throughout the state of Texas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain quality assurance policies that align with Medicaid and other regulatory/contractual payer agreements
Conduct regular on-site audits of client records, service plans, and caregiver documentation to ensure compliance.
Monitor service utilization and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Oversee compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and incident reporting requirements.
Provide training and guidance to field staff, caregivers, and administrative teams on state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on policy changes from HHSC, Medicaid, VA-CCN, and other regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance.
Report internal and external audit findings at all levels including branch, regional and senior leadership

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensure)

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Social Services, Public Administration, Nursing or a related field of study
3 – 5 years of experience in health care, social services or a related industry
Audit experience is preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven, multi-location organization
Must possess strong communication, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to maintain open lines of communication
Plans and organizes work effectively while meeting productivity goals
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, required.
Ability to travel up to 75% throughout Texas Region
Must be self-assured, detailed, and prompt in completing tasks and projects
Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
