Job Description
Chemical Testing and Solution Preparation: Perform chemical tests on various samples using approved methods, prepare and standardize chemical solutions accurately, and ensure reliable and precise results.
Laboratory Equipment and Inventory Management: Construct, maintain, and operate standard laboratory equipment, assist in keeping the laboratory inventory up-to-date and well-stocked, and ensure equipment is managed and maintained according to procedures.
Data Management and Interpretation: Record data, interpret results, use computers for data analysis and quality monitoring, and write reports, reviews, and summaries.
Training, Supervision, and Safety Compliance: Train and supervise visitors, colleagues, or trainees, follow strict safety procedures, and ensure compliance with safety checks and internal procedures.
Operational Support and Continuous Improvement: Assist the Inorganic Manager in achieving targets and daily operations, participate in audits and follow up on corrective actions, and stay updated with technical developments to improve laboratory efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any related science subject.
1-2 years’ experience would be advantageous.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel
Willingness to work flexible hours, & public holidays.
