Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. While prior experience in testing is preferred, we strongly encourage individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the field to apply. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and a passion for ensuring high-quality software deliverables. You will work both independently and collaboratively with developers and end users to maintain the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality software products
Identify bugs and issues and report them effectively to developers and stakeholders
Collaborate with developers and business users to ensure that product requirements are clear and complete, and offer suggestions for improvements
Create and maintain automated and functional test scenarios
Participate in design and code reviews to uphold software quality and adherence to best practices
Assist in defining workflows and processes to improve quality assurance procedures
Monitor and analyze software performance metrics to ensure optimal performance
Conduct testing related to data migration to ensure successful and accurate data transfer between systems
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of user manuals and documentation
Contribute to the creation of course content and instructional materials
Execute reports both for QA metrics as well as functional system reports
Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
A passion for ensuring an exceptional user experience
A positive, can-do attitude with a strong motivation to get things done right
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, TestNG) is a plus, but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Agile environments is helpful, but not mandatory
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with GitHub, Azure, and SQL queries is an advantage
Experience with data migration testing is a plus
Experience with Performance testing (LoadRunner, JMeter, and/or Gatling) is a plus
Experience in Insurance industry is a plus
Bonus Points For:
Knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies
Understanding of web-based application security vulnerabilities
Experience with accessibility testing for web-based applications (WCAG)
Experience with Postman or similar tools
Fluency in multiple languages
