Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Quality team, the Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that Laborie’s incoming, in-process and final products consistently meet our customers’ expectations.

About the Role:
Perform inspection, testing, record review (e.g. DHR/batch record), and release activities for raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods; execute First Article Inspection and document results.
Support the quarantine area including labeling, segregating, and transacting quarantined items; support initiation of non-conforming reports and compliant investigations; support compilation, analysis, and dissemination of related key performance metrics, reports and charts.
Collaborate with production staff on quality discrepancies to support corrective actions.
Perform ERP transactions after quality activities.
Establish and maintain document databases and filing systems for both electronic and hard copy documents.
Facilitate external/internal calibrations of measurement equipment; create, review, and approve calibration documents; schedule calibrations with quality, production, and maintenance departments and external calibration providers
Perform sampling for environmental monitoring and/or temperature and humidity monitoring and submit product samples to external labs for testing.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior related job experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, good organizational and time management skills
Basic understanding of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Knowledge of medical device quality and safety requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), experience with SAP a plus or ability to be trained in SAP
Familiar with ISO 13485 preferred
