Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves working closely with various departments to support quality control processes, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and assist in the implementation of quality management systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assist in maintaining documentation related to quality assurance processes, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
Collaborate with the quality control team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to FDA regulations throughout the production process.
Support the use of quality management software, including Calypso, for data collection and analysis.
Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
Knowledge of FDA regulations related to product safety and efficacy is a plus.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
