Job Summary (Lead QA Test Analyst, Data Warehouse)
Serve as Lead QA Test Analyst within the Enterprise Data Warehouse team for a major financial institution.
Develop and implement test strategies and test plans for Data Warehouse projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Participate in reviews of project requirements, data mappings, and technical design specifications.
Execute manual and automated test cases; perform functional, regression, negative, and migration testing.
Utilize tools and technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Python/PySpark, DataStage, Azure DevOps, and SQL.
Conduct ETL validation, data profiling, data reconciliation, meta data validation, and SCD type testing.
Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality problems.
Coordinate test execution efforts with cross-functional teams and UAT partners.
Identify, document, and communicate test defects; collaborate on defect analysis and triage.
Regularly communicate test status and results to project team members and stakeholders.
Support continuous QA process improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements.
Lead and mentor QA Analysts as part of project delivery.
Maintain strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience in financial services (banking) industry and advanced AWS/Snowflake testing.
