Position: Hiring for Lead QC/QA Engineer
Lead and manage QA/QC activities on marine construction projects, particularly those involving rockworks (e.g., breakwaters, revetments, scour protection).Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and related documents to develop inspection and test plans (ITPs).Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and applicable codes.
Conduct regular site inspections and oversee material testing related to rock placement, geotextiles, and associated works.
Coordinate with project engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure the traceability of materials and verify their compliance with project requirements.
Maintain and update QA/QC documentation including NCRs, test reports, method statements, checklists, and audit records.
Lead internal audits and participate in third-party or client audits as required.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and clients.
Provide training and mentoring to junior QA/QC personnel on site.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 5 years in marine construction projects involving  knowledge of international standards and specifications relevant to marine construction (e.g., BS, ASTM, ISO).Familiarity with geotechnical aspects and rock placement methodologies.
Proven experience in preparing and implementing ITPs and
quality control
documentation.
