Role Description
We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a full-time on-site role where you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and fostering a culture of quality across the engineering organization. You will design and implement testing strategies, lead the QA team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless and reliable software delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent technical and communication skills, committed to driving process improvements and innovation in testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning: Define and implement the QA strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to achieve high performance.
Execution and Delivery: Oversee end-to-end testing processes, ensuring software quality and reliability.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and requirements.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes through automation and innovation.
Risk Management: Identify, document, and mitigate quality risks throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Experience: Proven leadership in Lead or Senior Quality Assurance or similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
Proficient in scripting and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and mobile testing.
Experience with QA tools like Jira, and Postman.
Leadership and Communication Skils:
Proven experience in leading QA teams, managing team performance, and fostering collaboration.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey quality objectives.
