Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Engineer – Quality to oversee and strengthen quality assurance and quality control processes across solar projects and operations. The role involves monitoring quality standards, conducting audits and inspections, identifying process gaps, implementing corrective actions and supporting compliance with ESG, ISO and other regulatory requirements. This position is suitable for candidates who want to build a strong career in solar quality management, process improvement and project quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across projects and operations.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
- Plan and support yearly quality audits for ESG, ISO and other regulatory certifications.
- Identify process gaps, quality risks and improvement areas across projects and operations.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product and process reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate with Project, Operations and Procurement teams to maintain quality benchmarks.
- Analyse quality data and prepare reports for management review.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a quality-focused work culture.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely completion of quality audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Reduction in quality gaps, non-conformities and repeat observations.
- Effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Compliance with internal quality standards, ESG, ISO and regulatory requirements.
- Accuracy and timeliness of quality reports for management review.
- Improvement in project and process quality performance.
- Effective coordination with Project, Operations and Procurement teams.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and quality tools.
- Experience in solar industry quality practices and standards.
- Knowledge of audits, inspections, compliance frameworks and quality documentation.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates with prior experience in quality management for solar projects, solar EPC, renewable energy projects or manufacturing operations will be preferred.
