Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and experience in the Supply Chain and Operations domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software products.
Oversee the design development and execution of automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
Ensure that all testing activities align with the overall project timelines and deliverables.
Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any potential risks or issues.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Participate in code reviews to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Work closely with developers to understand the technical aspects of the software and provide feedback on testability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to software quality and testing.
Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
Must have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality engineering.
Nice to have experience in the Supply Chain and Operations domain.
