Primary responsibility is to implement strict quality and regulatory standards and ensure that SQF Programs are maintained consistently.
Responsibilities *****
Conducting environmental swabbing to assess cleanliness per environmental monitoring program.
Verifying date codes from work orders are correct in the system.
Putting products on QC/FDA hold.
Creating the testing schedule and ensuring it is followed.
Covering lines when short staffed and completing necessary paperwork.
Conducting sensory evaluations to determine the quality of the product.
Training new QA techs.
Conducting necessary audits on all plant employees.
Completing monthly scorecards to assess GMP knowledge.
Sending samples to labs as needed for testing.
Completing daily QC Incident Logs with accuracy.
Communicating any discrepancies with team members immediately.
Verifying all paperwork and filing appropriately.
Ability to navigate computer system WMS and Syntax to validate product information.
Strong organizational skills are required.
