HarperLloyd Recruitment is a legal specialist recruitment firm working with private practice firms, and we are currently partnering with a mid-tier national firm based in the Sydney CBD to find a Legal Assistant to join their Insurance team.
This role is ideal for a legal assistant with at least 2 years’ experience in Insurance or Litigation. You’ll be supporting a team of high-performing professionals and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This role is not suitable for law students.

The Role
This is a full-time Legal Assistant position within the Sydney Insurance Practice, supporting 5 authors.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Document generation, formatting, and editing
Diary, email, and travel coordination
File management and administrative support
Communication with internal and external stakeholders
Monthly billing, timesheet recording, and AMEX reconciliations using Elite 3E
Use of systems including Outlook, iManage, and Elite 3E
About You
You will be someone with:
At least 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant or secretary
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A proactive and autonomous working style within a fast-paced team
A professional, client-focused approach
Litigation experience
Elite 3E experience is ideal
