A Multinational Group of Company is looking for Manager/ Asst. Manager – QMS
Job Description / Responsibility
• Ensure effective implementation of quality standards throughout product development, sourcing, production, finishing, and shipment processes.
• Handle customer quality requirements for all accounts and ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality standards.
• Act as the focal point for Tesco quality management requirements, technical compliance, audit preparation, corrective actions, and customer communication.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer audits, technical assessments, factory evaluations, and compliance inspections.
• Monitor audit findings and ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (CAPA).
• Conduct internal audits and management review meetings to evaluate QMS effectiveness.
• Analyze quality performance data, identify root causes of recurring issues, and implement sustainable improvement initiatives.
• Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects, rework, customer complaints, and shipment risks.
• Monitor factory quality KPIs and prepare management reports, dashboards, and customer performance summaries.
• Ensure compliance with product safety requirements, testing protocols, restricted substance requirements, and customer technical standards.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Production, Merchandising, Technical, Industrial Engineering, and Compliance teams to achieve quality objectives.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct risk assessments and quality risk mitigation programs across manufacturing processes.
• Ensure proper documentation control and record retention as per customer and certification requirements.
• Facilitate training programs on quality systems, customer requirements, audit readiness, product safety, and continuous improvement.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management certifications.
• Work closely with merchandising and customer representatives regarding quality performance and improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain factory quality scorecards and customer compliance status reports.
• Lead quality culture development initiatives across all factory functions.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor`s degree from a recognized university in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent educational qualifications may also be considered based on relevant experience and expertise.

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Additional Requirements
- Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience in Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Assurance, and Compliance within the Garments/Apparel Manufacturing Industry.
- Hands-on experience in handling Tesco account quality requirements, technical compliance, customer audits, and corrective action management is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, quality standards, and customer compliance requirements.
- Sound understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, PDCA, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits, customer audits, factory assessments, and certification audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify quality risks and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong commitment to quality, compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement.
