DBL Group is looking for Manager/ Deputy Manager – GPQ (VF Corporation)
Job Description / Responsibility
- Implementing the buyer`s quality manual and technical specifications within the factory`s quality management system.
- Organizing and leading PP meetings, Size set garments review & arrange PP meeting with buyer QC and do the necessary task of PP meeting.
- Review sample, trim card, specification sheet, and whole QC file; raise any discrepancy noticed.
- Oversee quality control across cutting, sewing, and finishing processes
- Providing trims-accessories approval, bulk shade approval, print-embroidery-wash approval based on Buyer approved standard.
- Conducting Weekly shadow audit, Calibration and upload data in Buyer portal (Knowledge of InforNexus, InforQA, Smartsheet is preferred).
- Conduct audits (shadow, calibration, mold prevention, process) and update buyer portals
- Organizing final inspections with the buyer QC, preparing all necessary QC files, and ensuring the final product meets all specifications.
- Acting as the buyer`s representative in the factory, communicating any quality issues promptly, and implementing corrective actions.
- Preparing and preserving up-to-date, in-depth reports, including records of breakage needles and in-process quality reviews.
- Collaborate with merchandising, production, logistics, and commercial teams for smooth shipment execution.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Skills Required: Compliance, Quality Management System, AUDIT AND INSPECTION, Quality assurance and control, buyer management, GPQ, Reporting and Documentation, Leadereship., ProblemSolving and Analytical Skills
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments,Textile,Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of InforNexus, InforQA, Smartsheet will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and team management skills.
