Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure our projects and products meet the highest quality standards across all phases of development, construction, and commissioning. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, HACCP, FDA, and cGMP.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with project and industry standards.
Review and interpret contractual, regulatory, and local quality requirements.
Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), drawings, and relevant documentation are available and approved before activities commence.
Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance throughout site and project operations.
Verify that inspections and tests during construction and commissioning are properly conducted, documented, and validated according to approved sequences.
Ensure proper calibration and certification of testing and measurement equipment used on-site.
Oversee the compilation and submission of final quality documentation to stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Evaluate contractor quality plans and ensure alignment with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with project, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve quality-related issues and non-conformities.
Track inspection status, certification progress, and punch list closure through completion systems.

Quality Improvement & Project Support

Lead and support quality-related improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
Manage and support internal quality programs and change management projects.
Drive continuous improvement using quality tools and methodologies.
Promote and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), HACCP protocols, and FDA regulatory guidelines as applicable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering, construction quality management, or commissioning quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QA/QC principles, and regulatory compliance standards.
Familiarity with construction codes, industry-specific standards, and completion systems.
Proficient in project management techniques and quality management software tools.
Effective communicator with a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and a results-driven approach.
Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Transmissions: 1 year (Preferred)
