Responsibilities
Develop and establish comprehensive quality goals, converting them into policies, guidelines, or directives.
Supervise all quality-related operational activities, including the implementation of quality checkpoints, and the inspection and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Formulate and implement the company’s quality standards to align with customer expectations
Provide guidance on various problem-solving methodologies such as 5S, cause and effect diagrams, and scientific approaches to address quality issues that arise during production and related activities.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with standards at both local and international levels
Evaluate customer requirements and ensure they are fulfilled.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Production, Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field is required.
Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
Familiarity with ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, IFS, BRC, and Organic Certification is mandatory.
Having a certificate in Production and Inventory Management or Operations Management is also beneficial.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Sinhala, along with a positive attitude, are essential.
The position is open to male candidates under 45 years of age, who are prepared to work extended hours and demonstrate a strong commitment to their duties, even under stress.
