Job Context
A reputed 100% Export Oriented Headwear and Knit items manufacturing Garments Factory located at Gazipur is looking for an enthusiastic professional who can Manage the Product Quality and QMS for all stages of the Factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage QA processes for all stages of Headwear and Knit production.
- Maintain and improve product quality by monitoring product requirements, SOP, compliance, and providing technical support.
- Determine the operational quality performance of the product & safety protocols as per buyers' requirements like K-Mart, Walmart & Primark etc.
- Conduct regular audits of QMS systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and train the QA team.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
- Ensure full implementation of quality performance within the location through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in-process, finished goods inspection, and testing.
- Maintain QC documentation (certificates, inspection reports, regulatory compliance) as per GMP and FCCA.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance.
- Daily analyze the QC data to identify trends and improve processes.
- Collaborate with production and development teams to resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards.
- Ensure incoming raw materials meet specifications.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Implement preventive measures to reduce quality issues.
- Take necessary action or inform the authority if any discrepancies happen.
- Deal with critical operations, quality points, and explain to the Quality team and collaborate with development, production, procurement, and sales teams to align QC objectives.
- Any other job assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Experience: 10-15 years
- Education: bachelor in any discipline
- Skills: supplier quality management, quality management, garment manufacturing, rational quality manager, garment industry knowledge, knowledge of quality control, supplier quality, technical knowledge of garment production, quality management software, garment production
