Summary of Position: Seasonal
The manifestor is responsible for documenting and verifying all finished products that are produced by George Chiala Farms, Inc., will manage pallet count, and ensure label information including weight are accurate to schedule. Attention to detail is a critical component to the Manifestor role and is willing to adjust to a changing work environment as the business needs.
Essential Duties for all Employees:
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment that promotes work safety and product integrity.
· Must follow all Safety, HACCP & GMP requirements always.
· Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
· Willing to be flexible to accommodate changing business conditions.
· Ensure cleanliness around facility, freezer, and production area.
· Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
· Perform pre-op for shift startup.
· Documenting and accounting for all finished goods produced.
· After each completed pallet inspect that all cases and totes have white labels
· Verify and document every liner case and tote liner roll brought into plant.
o Verify and document when it is used.
o Document liners are used for wet or damaged products.
· Audit and document when product is put on hold or rejected.
o If product is out of specifications – request hold label.
· Complete daily production summary using the correct information.
o At end of shift, Gather paperwork from forklift drivers.
o Verify total quantities: labels, and tag numbers.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent along with 2 plus years related experience.
· Basic math, problem-solving skills, good oral and written communications skills
· Detailed oriented; accuracy is critical and to effectively manage time & meet deadlines
· Basic Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
