Job Description
This position will require an equal effort in both manual and automation testing.
Overall experience of 5+ years in Quality Engineering
Minimum 5+ yrs experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills
Good understanding of software QE concepts, recommended practices, and methodology that cover functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and UAT
Ability to manage multiple test events and projects at a time
Demonstrated experience working with offshore resources
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum
Experience designing test strategies and end-to-end test scenarios and estimating test efforts
Experience working with JIRA or other similar tools
Experience building framework and writing automated scripts using automation tools (Playwright, Selenium,Cypress, ,Java,JavaScript etc.) is required. Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks is required
Experience in Java or JavaScript is Mandatory
API testing tools & automation (Rest-Assured, SoapUI, Postman, SOAtest or CA LISA etc.) experience is required
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Bitbucket.
Database/SQL: Ability to write and understand SQL queries for database testing.
