Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with over 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance and a strong focus on automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of web applications, REST APIs, and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, POM, BDD).
- Develop automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Automate regression, smoke, and functional test suites.
- Optimize test execution for faster feedback cycles.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform automation testing.
- Implement and maintain test data management for automated tests.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product teams to understand requirements and improve testability.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards in test automation.
- Identify gaps in quality processes and implement improvements.
- Drive test automation best practices across QA teams.
- Create and execute automated API tests using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
- Validate data flows, integration points, and backend logic.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability during build and deployment cycles.
- Prepare automation strategy, test plans, and execution reports.
- Track defects, analyze root causes, and work with teams to resolve issues.
